Rise and Shine Member Agreement
Rise and Shine is a Private Members Association providing education, resources, and tools to its members.
Privacy Assurance:
Your privacy is a priority for Rise and Shine.
Your personal details are solely for internal use to maintain the integrity of our community.
Membership Pathway:
Membership within Rise and Shine is offered freely and without a membership fee. The Association operates on voluntary participation and shared commitment rather than financial subscription.
1. Application for Membership
Membership begins when an individual completes the Rise and Shine Member Agreement and submits the online registration form. By doing so, the applicant requests entry into the private community and affirms alignment with the purpose, values, and principles of Rise and Shine.
2. Acceptance of Membership
Membership is activated upon acknowledgement and acceptance by Rise and Shine. The Association reserves the right to accept or decline membership applications at its discretion in order to preserve the integrity, safety, and purpose of the community.
3. Duration of Membership
Membership is granted for a period of twelve (12) months from the date of acceptance. Membership may continue through renewal by completing an updated agreement or confirming continued participation when requested by Rise and Shine.
4. Access to Member Resources
Upon acceptance, members may access educational materials, community resources, gatherings, consultations, and other offerings made available to members from time to time. Access is conditional upon continued adherence to this Member Agreement, including confidentiality and community conduct expectations.
5. Voluntary Resignation
Members may resign their membership at any time by providing written notice to Rise and Shine. Upon resignation, access to all member resources, consultations, gatherings, and community benefits will cease unless and until the individual elects to reapply for membership.
6. Suspension or Termination of Membership
Rise and Shine may suspend or terminate membership where conduct is deemed inconsistent with the principles of the Association, including breaches of confidentiality, misuse of community information, or actions causing harm, disruption, or loss to the community or its members. This measure exists solely to maintain a safe and respectful private association environment.
7. Nature of Membership
Membership is voluntary, private, and non-commercial in nature. No fee is required to join; however, specific educational services, consultations, workshops, or resources offered separately may carry independent service fees where applicable. Participation in such offerings is optional and does not affect membership status.
Confidentiality & Non-Disclosure:
As a member of Rise and Shine, you must sight and agree to and sign our self-executing Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) if you participate in consultations, education and/or receive documentation. We will email any member requiring this on a case-by-case basis.
Please note:
1. You will be privy to confidential information that must remain within the confines of our community.
2. You agree to uphold strict confidentiality, not disclosing any information without written consent from Rise and Shine as per the NDA.
3. You are responsible for safeguarding all confidential information to prevent unauthorized use and or sharing.
4. This undertaking of confidentiality and non-disclosure is binding and integrated into your membership obligations.
5. The terms herein align with natural common law and the foundational principles of Rise and Shine.
6. Reading this agreement is a testament to your commitment to our ethos.
Waiver of Responsibility:
Rise and Shine, its team, consultants and facilitators, and Members are not responsible for any personal decisions or actions taken by its members. The community acts as a platform for shared growth and learning, without imposing directives on personal choices. Rise and Shine does not give legal advice. All actions taken upon by its Members is at the Member’s discretion and individual responsibility. Rise and Shine is an education platform and resource only.
The opinions and advice given by Rise and Shine are based on information, personal experience and knowledge accumulated over many years and are not to be taken as advice. We only provide information/consultancy based on our personal experience as a consultation service.
Mutual Commitment to Do No Harm, Cause No Loss:
Rise and Shine is committed to the principle of 'Do No Harm, Cause No Loss, and expects the same from its members. This mutual understanding ensures that our interactions and transactions are conducted in a manner that is fair, ethical, and respectful, whilst maintaining honour and integrity at all times. We aim to operate in a way that prevents harm or loss to our members, team, stakeholders, or the wider community.
Payment and Cancellation Policy:
1. No Refund Policy for Workshops / Document Creation Products: Please be advised that Pirate Collective operates on a strict no refund policy for Workshops / Document Creation Products. This policy is in place due to our extensive waitlist and consistently full calendar. Once a service is booked or a product is purchased, we cannot offer refunds under any circumstances.
2. Cancellation and Refund Policy for Consultations: There is a cancellation fee of 50% if you cancel within 24 hours prior to an appointment or consultation. If you miss your appointment without any prior notification, there are no refunds. For cancellations, refunds only apply with a minimum of 48 hours’ notice prior to your booking.
3. Payment Terms: To give you the best service possible and respect our time and yours; payment is required to be made within 24 hours of your booking and confirmed by emailing the payment receipt. Once you email your payment receipt this confirms your consultation and the details regarding your Zoom appointment will be sent to you. This prompt payment is essential to confirm your booking or to initiate the commencement of any product or document provision.
